KEBV Dual-plate Wafer Check Valves (Butterfly Check Valves) with short face to face dimensions and low weight provide an economical space-saving solution compared to traditional swing check valves. The body provides a short and straight flow path, and the spring-loaded designed disc with very low cracking pressure, which reduces the head loss. Quick closure of the disc reduces water hammer by creating a positive shutoff prior to flow reversal. Dual-plate Wafer Check Valves can be installed in any position, vertical (with upward flow only) or horizontal, bronze materials are more applicable for sea water.
